I never thought that my passion for the subject will put myself in a situation so uncomfortable that when I face today. And yet here I am suddenly in big trouble. To make matters worse, I introduced a special domain for the occasion (blogodomaines.com), which is strictly prohibited to all employees Sedo dinosaurs like me, not inconsistent with the rule. Misfortunes never come singly, researching my recent posts in the forums speaking on domain names have only confirmed the suspicions of betrayal from my employer and drive a little over the nail.

In short, here I am asked by my employer to take the door after 4 years of loyal service. Permanent closure of my blog and broadening my disclaimer competition already set at 15 years could probably fix things, but I have always considered freedom of expression as something fundamental and I did not intend to yield to pressure like that.

Still, the question that haunted me so long but I could always push until there is a reality today: is there life after domain names? Will I stay in the circuit and go distribute resumes at the next ICANN conference in Paris? Will I get my own business? Will I join the ranks of a competitor's car? Will I go into the domaining? Or will I turn the page and move on? Time will tell, but the next few days could be too painful to make such decisions.

Anyway, I try to see the bright side: I have a blog to talk about what troubles me and it, it's worth all the gold in the world!
