A forum dedicated to domain names?

Category: General - Remy @

Although the rule "first come, first served" leaves little room for altruism, it is far from the days when domainers were working in their own corner to make or buy the chips of the future before their neighbor.

The market changed attitudes too. And the passion and the Internet did the rest. Specialists domaining were constantly together. Circles of local insiders, it has quickly risen to the Usenet and in forums. Some, like DN Forum, have quickly established themselves as global references. Other, more modest, were content to their strike force as local ConsultDomain Germany.

Internet does not replace human relationships, gatherings have emerged. Again, we went to local meetings and good to arrive at global conferences such as the Reference Domain Roundtable, which are critical for all market players and not just domainers (registrars, online marketing specialists, investors ...)

Web 2.0 has brought the missing stone to the edifice basting the Net blog on which experts and insiders broadcast daily information of all kinds.

Never has the term "community" has been in vogue lately, and if the domainer community did not wait for the advent of Web 2.0 to naturally see the day, it now seems to peak of his art. Unless this is just the beginning and that references today are the gurus of tomorrow ...

La France, 7th world power among the country recorders domain (and placed once more) should not have exceptions to the rule. Yet, the finding is surprising: no independent forum on domain names. At best bits of subforums it and then timidly integrated forums webmastering after months of forcing from their administrators remain reluctant to most, but who can no longer deny the existence of a community of a need for information at non-specialists.

The causes of the lack of place (s) of French trade are many and could be an article in themselves. If pointing out the lack of initiative may seem a little easier, we can not deny that the will is the basis of all creation forum. For the francophone community is here and there, and was not born the last rain. Some résautent for years, with the means at hand and modest scale. Those have their lines in English or germanophones forums and now have an experience of inestimable value. An experience that most would be happy to share with newbies (it happens every day) and the general public.

And lately, we feel some domainers Francophone taken itching. Motivated by the dream of establishing itself as a reference in the community by touching the general public or only by passion, they talk about their projects. Some are considering it for months or years, others more recently arrived on the market there are a great way to make their ranges.

While it would be very surprising to see overnight pushed the French forums like mushrooms in the coming weeks should see the advent of one (or several) place (s) trade.

The community of domainers, the players first and second market and the general public - as private companies - can only benefit. For around the world, the forums have helped to educate the market and democratization of domaining.

There's plenty more on forum ;-)

Just enough to form a community of connoisseurs / sharers able to be on 2-3 forums identical in function but different in spirit.

In any case, what is the landscape-forum francophone domaino to date with 3 "leaders' identified:

    http://www.forumndd.com
    http://www.domaineur.com
    http://www.dnforum.com/f500/

In the market to choose Smile If all goes well in the best of worlds, the best forum must be both capable of attracting domainers French side known for their discreet (not to say "bear" Wink The curious wanting to know more about this activity often unclear and sometimes misunderstood and - last but not least - the end users.

Any program, which advances are not pointing to a daily rate but annual.
