Imagine ... the Terrans feel a little cramped on their planet and decide to see if the grass is greener on the Moon. The best locations are still to find, but space in every case, there seems unlimited. Driven by desire for space and new business opportunities, thousands of land gradually leaving our old planet to start in real estate on the Moon. But what's really worth the title? Who regulates the acquisition of these new lands? How to organize trade?
These are the kinds of questions that arose for the secondary market of domain names a few years ago. When the market for virtual real estate was in its infancy, of course nobody would bet a penny on the cyber-space for the simple reason that it did not exist. But when the Internet became a reality, it has rapidly established itself as a new field of application of economic models for the real estate market.
